Creating consistently takes more than pressing the LIVE button. It takes time to learn your audience, develop content that keeps people engaged, build real connections, and understand what helps your LIVE grow. Next Step Media helps rising creators develop those skills with guidance, community, training, and opportunities to grow.
There is no fee for creators to join Next Step Media. Our goal is to help eligible TikTok LIVE creators strengthen their content, build their community, and make better use of the opportunities available through LIVE.
You do not need a perfect studio, expensive equipment, or a huge following to get started. What matters is that you are ready to learn, stay consistent, follow platform rules, and put in the work.
Creator Eligibility
- ✓ Must be 18 years of age or older.
- ✓ Must be located in the United States or Canada.
- ✓ Must not have earned more than 500,000 diamonds in any 30-day period during the previous six months.
- ✓ Must follow TikTok Community Guidelines and remain in good standing.
- ✓ No smoking or vaping on camera during TikTok LIVE.
- ✓ The account submitted must be your primary account; backup accounts are not accepted.
Eligibility may also be subject to TikTok requirements and program availability.

TikTok LIVE gives creators a real-time way to connect with viewers, share their personality and talents, and build a community beyond short-form posts. LIVE creates room for longer conversations, interaction, entertainment, and genuine audience relationships.
Why Go LIVE?
Going LIVE can help creators deepen relationships with existing followers while reaching new viewers. Real-time feedback also helps you understand what your audience responds to, so you can keep improving your content and your LIVE experience.
How Do LIVE Rewards Work?
Eligible viewers can send virtual Gifts during a LIVE. TikTok may award Diamonds to eligible creators based on Gifts and other factors under TikTok's applicable rules. Strong communities are built through consistent, engaging content, not by treating every LIVE like an ATM with a ring light.

Does it cost anything to apply?
No. There is no fee to submit an application to Next Step Media through TikTok's official agency application system.
Will NXS ever ask for my TikTok password?
No. NXS will never ask for your TikTok password. Your application is completed through TikTok's official system, and you keep control of your account.
What support does NXS provide?
NXS provides creator onboarding, communication with management, LIVE guidance, organized battle opportunities, battle confirmations and reminders, accountability, and help troubleshooting creator concerns.
Do I need a certain number of followers?
TikTok eligibility can vary by account and region. If you are unsure whether your account qualifies, submit the official application or contact NXS on TikTok before applying.
What does NXS expect from creators?
We look for creators who are at least 18, communicate with management, maintain consistent LIVE activity, behave professionally, support a drama-free environment, and remain open to coaching and improvement.
How long does approval take?
Approval time can vary because applications must be reviewed. NXS will provide the next steps after the application has been reviewed.
Can I apply if I am already with another agency?
You should resolve your membership with your current agency before applying to NXS. TikTok may prevent an account from joining more than one agency at the same time.
What happens after I am approved?
You will complete NXS onboarding, receive communication instructions, learn the creator expectations, and be introduced to the support and opportunities available to you.
